Afternoon Program Robotics Lead Teacher/Coach
The Williston Northampton School, an independent co-educational boarding and day school in Easthampton, Massachusetts, is a culturally diverse educational community serving grades 7-12. We are seeking to hire an Afternoon Program Robotics Lead Teacher/Coach to for November 2023 through March 2024.
This position covers the hours of 3:45-5:45 each weekday that classes are in session and the occasional weekend competition. The position is paid hourly. Ideal candidates will have a background in working with high school or middle school-aged children and some experience with computer science, robotics, and engineering. Williston Northampton participates in the VEX system which is fundamentally student centered. The role of the Robotics Lead Teacher/Coach, along with administrative duties, is to support students’ growth and encourage their development.
Candidates must be able to successfully complete the state-mandated CORI, as well as SORI, a general background check, and a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
